The Donkey Man

Great Jack Simpson
Simpson went to Turkey but he was planning to go to Egypt. Simpson went out and made a friend, not just any friend, a donkey. That is how they carried people. Simpson gave the donkey a head bandage with a red cross to identify him. Jack Simpson saved more than 300 people. One day while Jack was walking he got shot. The bullet went through his heart. They buried him with a cross on top of him – it said In Loving Memory Jack Simpson.

Simpson Who Helped Wounded People
Once upon a time a long time ago there was a person called Simpson. Simpson grew up to be in the war. One day he saw a donkey that was doing nothing at all. Simpson slowly went to the donkey so he could be friends with her. Simpson called the donkey Duffy. Simpson worked with Duffy. They carried water to the soldiers. They also helped wounded people a lot. Duffy carried the wounded people. Simpson saved three hundred people. But Simpson died because he got shot. Then Simpson was buried. On top of him there was a cross that said Jack Simpson.
